Kenfilt was born in 1964 in Badalona, a city next to Barcelona. Since then we have designed, manufactured and installed filtration equipment on five continents. Many of those machines are still active 40 years later.

The management of Salgar Group Industrial 1.3, suppliers to the brand for 30 years, takes over the business under the name Kenfilt Ibérica 1.3, keeping the company's historic technical and production team.

We have spent over 60 years conducting filtration engineering studies and providing solutions to our customers. Many customers who chose to use our filters have not changed their coolant in years. Over 3,500 installations in 37 countries confirm the effectiveness of our equipment.
Six decades
of progress.
The beginning
Mr. Lleal sets up on his own to give solution to improve processes in the metalworking industry.
Own brand
First filtration equipment manufactured under Kenfilt's own Novotecnic brand. First filtration plant delivering over 6,000 l/min. The importance of exporting becomes apparent and Novotecnic exhibits at the 3rd EMO in Italy.
European expansion
Exports to France, Germany and Italy. The equipment enters the lines of the major machine-tool manufacturers. New premises in Santa Perpètua, with 3,800 m² of factory and offices.
Exports consolidate
Exports become established and reach 80% of turnover. One of the largest precoat filtration installations is designed and built, handling 36,000 l/min of cutting oil.
Global presence
Active installations in 37 countries across 5 continents. Over 2,000 units filtering fluids in automotive, watchmaking and marine industries. The KENFILT trademark is registered to modernise the brand worldwide.
Service and spares
Kenfilt makes structural adjustments and creates KENO to provide an improved spare parts and support service for filters already in operation.
