KENFILT in the bearing industry

Last April 2017 KENFILT launched two pre-coating filtration plants in a new bearing manufacturing plant of a major manufacturer of Japanese bearings in one of its European factories

These two plants are filtering a special light oil used for the cleaning of the different components that make up the bearings in the final processes of manufacture and have a double-skin deposit to ensure that no oil leakage can occur in the Factory floor.

The FTD 30 AD TA pre-coat filtration plant was designed to filter a flow of 1600 l/min of special light oil, similar to kerosene, for the intermediate washing of the components of the bearings with a filtration quality of 3-5μm , using filteraid of cellulose fibers.

The FTD 30 AD TA + FPLA pre-coat filtration plant in addition to the pre-coat filter, it incorporates an FPLA police filter with a filtration quality <3μm. Automatic self-cleaning by counter current, which allows to ensure that no particle greater than 3 μm can reach the assembly zone of the bearings and thus guarantee the quality and life of the bearings..
As can be seen in the photographs of the two pumping stations, all the pumps that incorporate, are vertical pumps with the turbine submerged in the liquid eliminating all possible leaks of oil on the floor or trays as usually happens with the horizontal axis pumps. This is very important since they eliminate the risks of possible fires, especially taking into account the low viscosity of the filtered oil and the low flash point of of the filtered liquid. foto 3

according to the European Standard E-60204-1 and the materials used are the
ones requested by the customer which can be:

ALLEN BRANDLEY, OMRON, SIEMENS, TELEMECANIQUE ...

When necessary, they are also carried out according to the client's specific regulations
It is important to note that since the date of the start of the operation of the two filtration plants, they are working to the full satisfaction of the customer, as the result on the daily filtration quality analysis that are permanently kept on a NAS 5, which is the quality of filtration required by the bearing manufacturers, which is much stricter than the quality required in other mechanical industries, such as automobile industries that normally work with cleaning qualities of coolant liquids with a NAS 9 for its machining in general, NAS 8 for grinding and NAS 7 for super finishing and honning operations.  foto 5
